Street Art

Street art is any art developed in public spaces — that is, "in the streets" — though the term usually refers to unsanctioned art as opposed to government sponsored initiatives.

Berlin has attracted attention to international street artists since the reunification of the city making it one of Europe's street art strongholds. A lot of bizarre post-communist locations, cheap rents and ramshackle buildings gave rise to a vibrant street art scene. Hotspots include; Mitte, Prenzlauer Berg, Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain.

A workshop with real street artists .
Your guests will explore the possibilites of producing art in the open. Set in a fitting location like an old unused factory they will use all kinds of media and ideas to create street art themselves. This can involve anything from producing a flash mob to actually painting.

The groups will be equipped with digital cameras to document their work and publish it on a self made blog which also serves as a tool of documenting the whole trip and a means to remember being in Berlin long after the participants have returned home.

Connaisseur Club Berlin

The next day youll experience an captivating rallye through Berlin which has the motto „ Berlin inside, outside and in the thick of it“. Stylish black limousines transport your guests to three action sites within the city.

On their way they have to answer knowledge questions. And they can use jokers to help answer the questions: an audience lifeline, where they have to ask passengers in the street and a phone lifeline where they can call whoever they think might help them. The following action sites expect your guests: tricky stuff in the underground, unexpected perspectives at the historic airport Tempelhof (including lunch), meandering paths on Alexanderplatz in the city centre.

In the evening your guests will be invited to a distinguished mansion in one of Berlins chicest areas, the „Grunewald“. The exciting day will end with an award ceremony and the admission ceremony to the Conaisseur Club Berlin.
